Building Creative Pathways Across the Community
Our outreach work connects emerging talent, educators, families, and local communities with the tools, experiences, and inspiration to imagine new possibilities through animation and digital creativity
For the past few years, Animae Caribe has been visiting communities such as Rio Claro, Mayaro, Toco, Maracas, Valencia, Couva and other rural areas throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
The aim of the initiative is to allow youths in these areas to be exposed to the potential of information and communications technology (ICT) services and in particular animation and digital media. Participants will be introduced to 3D and 2D animation as well as view screenings of UTT winning animation student films.
